Name: Auntie Helga's Christmas Carol Year: 2005 Era: Golden Years Type: Movie Development Time: 1 day(s) Description: Bob Cratchet is working for next to nothing, and doesn't get any more wood for the fire. He has to prick his finger for blood so he can write, and he is not allowed to go to the GAP. At home, his daughter is going to die, so she must finish her dusting quickly. Then at night Auntie Helga comes home and is greeted by carolers singing Du Hast, and she head bangs to it. Then she goes to sleep, only to wake up later by Marley. Marley warns her about three ghosts who will visit during the night. The first ghost comes and is only a head. He shows her the past. Then the ghost of the present comes and is huge. He shows her Bob Cratchet talking to his dead his daughter pretending she is alive. Then the Scream guy comes and tries to kill her, but she thinks he is the ghost of the future, so she leaves to see what the future will hold. The real ghost of the future comes and is confused why she isn't there. He meets up with the Scream guy and they fight to the death. Auntie Helga never learns her lesson and feed scraps from the largest turkey to Bob Cratchet who has to beg for them under the table. Trivia: -We redid the original movie in 2 hours. -The tape we used was an old one from work, and it cut out the intros to a couple scenes. -Chris got cut by the ham at the end. -Many original props were still around and reused. The rabbit skins and green cloak on the Ghost of the Present, the Scream mask, Helga's cane and Cratchet's coat. Missing were Crachet's hat, Timmy Tubby's skull (so he remained dead at the piano) and the voice changer. I have a voice changer, but I couldn't find it. Swapped were Helga's wig since the wigs get old and tangled fast, ham instead of pork and Helga's attire changed from the japanese robe to the pink gown used in the zombie movies. Comment: -The original Auntie Helga's Christmas Carol had an annoying winding sound caused by the tape turning. This ruined most of the witty dialogue, so we set out to redo it 7 years later. Most of it was the same except for a few scenes that weren't feasible to redo, or were funnier in a different way.
